About the Game The game has enjoyed seven pieces of DLC, of which this is the final one. It begin with Curse of Osiris, followed by Warmind. The following year brought Forsaken, which was followed in fairly quick succession by three seasonal content drops. Shadowkeep was the fourth DLC, which was accompanied again, by seasonal content drops. Beyond Light was number five, again with four seasonal content drops, and The Witch Queen was sixth. Lightfall is the seventh DLC, and the one immediately before this: The Final Shape. It is easy to see that this whole game arc: the main game, the DLC packs and the many content drops make for a huge and highly enjoyable game universe to explore, and revisit many times. The main game, Destiny 2 is a sequel to the first game of the same name, and it is set in a mythical science fiction universe with a shared world platform and elements of role playing action. You can play two ways: player versus environment (PvE), which is you against the game’s world, or player versus player (PvP) – you against other online players. You can also team up and play three-player strikes and dungeons, or six-player raids, if co-operative play is more your thing. There are also occasional events to join in with.
